    3. Ask for Linda Thompson at Lane Public Library....lots of info/knowledge..SW Ohio Genealogy society. Call John Francis at New London Cemetery....Paddy's Run is Shandon, Oh, and the New London Cemetery is at Shandon...plus there is another, older cemetery in the middle of Shandon. St Alouisious Cathlic Church outside of Shandon may have record of Thomas, since it looks like he might have been a farmer around Paddy's Run (Shandon)....OR St Marys might be the answer....my understanding is that the family is Irish Catholic?? Before you leave home, go to the Butler County website through Genweb. It has lots of info that may help you in figuring out which cemeteries that you may want to concentrate your search. The official Butler County (gov) website will give you all of the addresses for your searches. The others are correct about the Hamiltonian. It will be the most centrally located for your endeavors, since it is two or three blocks in each direction from where you are wanting to go (the library, courthouse, archive center, Veterans museum, easy access to any part of Butler Co from that location). Venice Cemetery is at Ross. Bunker Hill is at Reily. Millville Cemetery..St Charles Cemetery, on 129. Macedonia Cemetery on Drewsburg Road, towards Indiana, but still in the general area of Paddys Run, plus there are a lot of "family plots" scattered all through the area. That is where the info from the Butler County website may save you a lot of time hunting, once you determine what area Thomas might have had as a final resting place. Most of the folks are real friendly and helpful, especially when they find out you are one of us, a couple of generations removed. And, of course, Neilan Blvd runs right along the river from almost downtown Hamilton to Fairfield. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Audra4RLS@aol.com> To: <OHBUTLER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 17, 2006 5:22 PM Subject: [OHBUTLER-L] help please > Hello, > I really need some advise from any kind soul in regard to planning a > trip > to Hamilton City to work on genealogy.
