Do any of you know anything about Charles T. Jenkins who was a freshman advisor at Miami U back in 1938? I have a letter from him to one of my aunts, giving some family history. The letter says he was in the N.Y. A. Office of Student Personnel. I'm wondering if he had other family members, children, maybe still living in Butler Co, who could answer some more questions. Nancy, I think that is the Charlie and Noble Jenkins that had kin and friends around Okeana and Shandon. Check out the Okeana granduation pictures on the Butler Co Genweb/rootsweb site for a picture of him either at Shandon or Okeana. Check with Jill Wilson Evans at Shandon. She might even have more info about him that would be fairly up-to-date. By the Bye...have you checked out Mark Gilberts website @ tribal pages? He has some Georges on it that look awful familiar, plus I have already discovered that he is related through the Joyce and VanAtta gang from our neck of the woods.
