Hi, does this site cover the years 1824-1828. I am trying to find out what happen to my 3rd great grandfather's family and I assume they died in the epidemics around Cincinnati.. Here is the info I have on him. (I don't have his parents names, thus my genealogy identy problem.) OBITUARY, March 28, 1890, THE GREENSBURG STANDARD NEWSPAPER, Greensburg, Decatur Co., Indiana SAMUEL BARKER WILKINSON Samuel Barker Wilkinson was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, June 6th, 1821, of English parentage. Left as an "orphan" at the age of six, he was brought up by John Baxter, of Warren County. He was married to Prescilla Johnson, on September 25th 1845. They moved to Jennings County, Indiana in 1854, but returned to Ox ford, Ohio in 1858, where they resided until 1875, when they came to the farm near Westport, Ind., which was home until the time of his death, March 21,1890. He was stricken with paralysis over two years ago, and has suffered much in that time. A second stroke one week before his death left him speechless and unable to take food. Funeral services were held at Union Presbyterian Church on March 22nd conducted by Rev. F. M. Westhafer, after which his body was laid to rest in the cemetery at that place. His wife and son have the sympathy of a large acquaintance of friends of many years. > [Original Message] > From: <genewill@sbcglobal.net> > To: <OHBUTLER-L@rootsweb.com> > Date: 8/7/2005 8:59:12 PM > Subject: Re: [OHBUTLER-L] Conditions in 1800's > > During that time, there was a cholora epidemic that cost a lot of local > lives.
