Hello all listers, Another family member in Illinois and I have been trying to find a death record or an obituary or anything on the death of an ancestor ... Charles E. Dill. Charles is listed in the 1870 census as 10 years old, living with Ann Dill, age 58 and Ann's daughter, Margaret Dill, age 33, in Hamilton County, Crosby Township. In the 1880 census in Hamilton County, Crosby Township, Charles is still listed with Ann Dill, age 68, Matthew Dill, age 41 and Mary Dill, age 35. Charles E. Dill maried Jennie Frazee on July 10, 1893, in Hamilton County, OH. Charles is listed in the 1900 Hamilton County, Harrison Township, census with his wife, Jennie and four (4) children. In 1903, Charles and Jennie's son, Karl, was born in Indiana (Harrison). In the 1910 Butler County, city of Hamilton census, Charles is missing, but his wife, Jennie, and five (5) children are listed ... the youngest child having been born around 1908. So Charles was either dead or Jennie had divorced him by 1910. In 1910, Charles would have been around 49 years old. If anyone has any information at all on this Charles--whether what happened to him or who his real parents were--we would be so grateful. Thank you, everyone, Barbara in Indiana
