Hello Cindy, I worked in a nursing home for many years. I have seen many residents charts. Most of the information is going to pertain to the residents medical history and behaviour. There would probably be some information about the institutions she had been in. Probably the person responsible. In her case this would probably have been somebody appointed by the state or a lawyer if she had been in an institution all her life. There might be a page with her likes and dislikes. There would probably be a page with info about where she was born and when and who her parents were. It might tell when they died. It might tell what institutions she was in. I doubt if there would be any info on her siblings unless they were responsible for her care. The other thing that I know from the Nursing home I worked in---when someone dies the info is removed from the chart and is moved to another location. My guess is to some filing cabinet or box of old records in some out of the way storage room. This could be the reason no one seems eager to help. Good luck in your search.
