Union Cemetery is now named Brookside Cemetery and it is located in West Chester Township, here in Butler County, Ohio. This active, and well maintained cemetery, is located on Beckett Road just to the rear of the West Chester Police Dept. and several maintenance buildings. The cemetery office is located in one of the maintenance buildings. The entire complex is at the intersection of Cincinnati-Dayton Road and Beckett Road in the Village of West Chester. Yes, both Catherine and Frank Reeb are buried there. The following is from "Butler County, Ohio Cemetery Records," Volume V, Page 44: Reeb, Catherine, d. 24 Apr 1861, ae 20 yrs, 3 mos, 9 das, wife of Michael Frank, d. 7 Aug 1860, ae 5 mos, 17 das, son of M. and C. There is no burial record for Michael. The actual records for the pre-1895 burials were destroyed in a fire that year but the cemetery staff has been working over the years to reconstruct the records for known burials.
