Hi Tina, I have Edward J. Murphy, b.1853, Ohio. I think. I have been trying to get this together so I could let you know. It appears that the Murphy's were in Ohio and went to KY and back again to Ohio. Or they were in KY and came to Ohio. I am very busy right now but wanted to get in touch to see if your Murphy's are related to mine. I do have much more information but before I send it out needed to see if maybe we match. Take care, Judy Minihan
Judy, Thanks for your responce. I am not sure if our Murphy's are connected. I will check to see if I can find a Edward anywhere in what little info. I have. I can tell you my Grandfather was John Murphy he was born in Morgan Co., Kentucky and moved to Ohio where he and his 1st wife, Eve/Eva Blair, had their 3 kids and then my Grandfather came back to Ky. and married my Grandmother, Essie Mae Kincaid, and lived in Estill Co., Ky where they had 2 more kids, my Mom and her Brother. I do know most of my Grandfather's Brother's and Sister's was born in Ky and moved to Ohio. So, I will check and see what I can come up with. Judy, I can not find an Edward Murphy in my files. I would say since the Murphy's went back and forth from Ohio and Kentucky and the majority went to the same areas, there is a connection somewhere. We just need to find it. Does any of these names ring a bell. John Murphy and Nancy Ransome I have found info that they had 16 children, but have no documentation on that. William K. Murphy - son of John and Nancy John Lewis Murphy - son of William K. Newton Istore Murphy - son of John Lewis John Murphy - son of Newton Istore (My Grandfather) Tina ----- Original Message ----- From: <JMINI22977@aol.com> To: <OHBUTLER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 04, 2005 2:59 PM Subject: Re: [OHBUTLER-L] Roll Call MURPHY > Hi Tina, > > I have Edward J.
