    2. Ebenezer Chapel Cemetery is located in Hanover Topwnship in the SW 1/4 of Section 7, T4N, R 2E on the East side of DeCamp Road, one mile west of the Village of McGonigle. It is an abandoned cemetery, in a neglected condition, located on private land. I have never visited this cemetery and this information is from Ohio Cemeteries: 1803-2003, page 75, compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society. Copies of this book are in most area libraries. I don't know if this was in response to my query, but I was looking for the Ebenezer Cemetery in Reily Twp. It is supposed to be very close to Indian Creek Baptist Cemetery off of Indian Creek Rd. I drove by about 2 months ago and I couldn't see anything from the road. -- Dennis M. Kowallek kowallek@iglou.com ******************

    3. For what it's worth, my husband was in the south many years ago and saw many an "Ebenezer Cemetery". Also, from info I just got, the first church built in Linden, Montgomery Co., IN was named Ebenezer Church, later re-named to Linden Methodist Episcopal Church. I think the verse quoted earlier about it being a sign of God's victory may be applicable. All other things being equal.
