My dad and 3 uncles served full-time during World War II in the Navy and Army. My grandfather served with the Enlisted Reserve Corps during World War II. My great-great grandfather served with the 100th Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. My 2 great-great-great-grandfathers who served with the 18th U.S. Infantry and 83rd Ohio Volunteer Infantry, respectively. And to my 7g-grandfather who served with George Washington in the Industrial Revolution.
