Hi List, It's been several years since my last post and am still with no new information on my Tucker line. I am researching the family of John and Hester (Hettie) Reed who lived in Oxford in the 1850 federal Census. At the time of this census their children were: Sarah Jane age 13 John age 8 James age 5 Preston age 3 Rachel age 1 John Sr. appears in the 1860 Federal Census working as a farm laborer in Oxford but I cannot find his wife or children anywhere. Sarah Jane is old enough to have been married by this point. I am hoping someone out there might have access to marriage records to see if she was indeed married at this and to whom. I have not been able to locate John Tucker Sr. in any of the 1870 Federal Census's so I am assuming he died somewhere between 1860 and 1870. Since he was in Oxford for atleast 20 years, can someone tell me if there is any cemetery listings for him or for Hester? By 1870, John Jr. and brother Preston appears to be living in MO. No idea as to what happened to James or little sister Rachel. Any help at all locating death information on John and Hester Strong would be so much appreciated. Also marriage information on Sarah Jane or Rachel would be wonderful too. Thanks, Paula MN
