I finally got to the cemeteries with my flowers. Pioneer Cemetery looks WONDERFUL! What a difference Vivian and her group has made! My only concern there is that I am afraid Hiram Beauchamp's stone is going to disaapear. It has been broken for several years. The piece that is still mounted in the ground is loose. Once the vandals find that out----good-by Hiram! I wish I could do something to repair it, but with my bad back I was lucky to get flowers to the cemetery. But I really want to commend the people that have made such a difference. I am sure my ancestors are pleased! But, Oh, Amanda! Several stones are shoved out of place including J.T. McGlaughlin--my great-great grandfather. And poor Ebenezer Manche---still doesn't have any kind of marker indicating that he fought in the Civil War. He died at Mission Ridge, TN. Only 21 years old. There are some old pioneers there, too. My great-great-great grandmother is there. She was born in 1782. That is 223 YEARS ago!! Carolyn --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
