The wills and estate packets for Butler County, Ohio are kept in the Butler County Records Center and Archives, 123 North Third St., Hamilton, OH 45011. The Center is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m (closed on legal holidays) if you wish to visit the Center for personal research. Copies of wills, probate packets and other official documents can be ordered via regular mail sent to the above address. You can also request documents by e-mail: [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected]) We are not staffed to provide general research services and all requests must contain the name of the person being researched, an approximation of the date of the event and the type of document desired, e.g., wills, estates, births, deaths, etc. You must also provide us with your full name and mailing address as we do not transmit any documents electronically. The current cost is five cents per page, with the first five copies free. To this will be added mailing costs. Do not send any money with your request.
