I will research my old notes as the name is familar ! I believe that an ancestor of mine also fought with Capt. John Robinson in war of 1812 ! I am researching Daniel, Jacob Jr.,and Philip Round. Name has been spelled Rowan,Rowen,Rownd,Rown,Rowand. My gggrand father was Ezra Round who was born in,or near, Butler Co., Ohio in 1810,and was also married in Fountain Co., IN in 1837. Jacob Rowan/Round died in Butler Co. in 1818 while Daniel and Philip moved to Dearborn Co., IN in census of 1820. My great grandfather was born in White Co., IN in 1839. His name was John Dickinson Round. Shortly after 1840, Ezra and family moved to Buchanan Co., MO and to Doniphan Co., KS abt 1855. I have seen the name Lowry somewhere in my boxes of notes.
