    3. Hi, Speaking of Butler County maps, I have been trying to locate a Liberty Township map showing section boundaries and numbers. I'm trying to pinpoint a farm my grandfather Palmer bought in 1921 from Mr. Radabough. Legal description from the deed: "Situated in the County of Butler and in the State of Ohio, and in the township of Liberty and bounded and described as follows: Being in the Southwest quarter of section nine (9) in the Third Township, third or Military Range between the Miami River, containing one hundred and sixty (160) acres, more or less, and all the....." Handwritten on the deed above "Southwest" is "Southeast?" so someone apparently questioned the exact location. Can someone point me in the right direction to obtain a map with enough information for me to locate the farm? I visited the farm several times c 1945-1949 but can't remember exactly how to get there.... I was too young to drive. My grandmother lost her life there in January 1923 when the family home burned to the ground. Appreciate any help. 3. I have looked at the 1930 Butler County Atlas from the library and photographed the Liberty Township map. The 1930 Map shows Shelby? Palmer owing land in the SE Quarter of Section 9. The west 1/2 of the SW Quarter is owned by Palmer and the east half by M Ellington?/ or perhaps M Pottington. This section 9 is in R3N and T2E. The access to this location is East of Cincinnati Dayton Road and North of Millikin road before Butler-Warren Road The Middletown Library and Hamilton Library have these maps.. I have attempted to photograph the maps on the fly and some of them turn out well/ adequately. I have a variety of images of Liberty Township from 1836 through 1930.
