The 1875 map of Butler County at: http://members.tripod.com/~nanny_4/ButlerCounty.html has township and range, though the resolution makes it difficult to decipher. Remember too that the boundary between Butler and Hamilton County was shifted several times. T2 R2 sections were split between the two counties. My ancestors lived in this area and its very confusing where their county records were and are held. Michael Lewis Santa Cruz, California
That's the map I put up to show the townships and locations. It's from an old newspaper the the Hamilton Journal-News published in 1975 for the 100 years of Butler Co. To give it more resolution, it makes it too big. In that section of the paper, it has each township on a page by itself, and has the names of the property owners. It's on film at the LDS Family History Centers.
