This index ***is not*** the Shirley Baker index from the book "The County of Butler, Ohio, McBride's Map of 1836 Combined With Atlases Of 1875 and 1895". A small sampling of Shirley's index was found to contain omissions and other errors, so I decided to create a new (and hopefully better) index from scratch. Hanover and Reily Townships have already been loaded in this index. I will be adding more townships to the index as time permits, hopefully at a rate of 1 township every 2-3 weeks. I am currently working on Ross Township. We may also be putting higher resolution images of these maps online soon. I need to talk to Nancy about this.
