Apr. 5, 1932 PASSED AWAY AT DAUGHTER'S HOME Mrs. Irene Bell, 57, died at 2 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Short, 2205 Sheffield St, Mayfield, where she had been under the tender care of her family for several years. Mrs. Bell had been in poor health during that period but had always retained her cheerful optimism and faith through the ordeal. She was twice married and leaves 5 children of the two unions. Mrs. Mary Short, Mrs Ellen Back, and Mrs Opal Baker of Franklin; Harold Harrison and John Bell. Arrangements will be made later for the funeral. -------------------------------------- April 6, 1932 BELL SERIVCES TO BE HELD TOMORROW Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Bell, who died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Short, 2205 Sheffield Ave., will be held Thursday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock at the Church of God, Clayton Street. Rev. Jeff Wilson will be the officiant and internment will be made in Woodside cemetery.
