    3. Yes, thank you, Sandra. Do you have this book, or did you locate this on the internet? Is there other information included with this citation that might be helpful or is this all that is included under Andreas Koch? I'm not familiar with this book, so I guess I have a lot of questions. Sorry. This could be the Andrew Koch I'm looking for, but I'm trying to document the immigration date and info for Andrew Koch/Cook who lived in Lewis Co., KY, after the Civil War until 1890????. Census says he was born in Hamburg. His Civil War pension application says he was a machinist apprentice in Cincinnati in 1854. He was born ca. 1835, and he would be the son of Andrew Koch who immigrated in 1844, his mother Mary (Maria), on the Latrobe from Bremen, Germany. I have Andrew Koch, Mary Koch, and Andrew Koch, son on the 1850 census in Butler Co., Ohio, who are the correct ages. Thanks again for your help. You're the best!!!!!! 3. Hello Janet, attached I send you some information thaht might be helpful. Most of the so far information I found on the web. But I think you best bet will be the FamilySearch.org The Church of the Latter-Day Saints. I work with their mikrofilms a lot. They have a large collection of old german records . They charge you $ 5.50 per mikrofilm after 3 renewal the film becomes your permanent loan, and they have more german records than ancestry. In short a gold mine for us, when you research your ancestors, you only have to read german. If you choose to go this way, let me know, I can posssible transcribe ffor you for a small fee. I am doing transcribe work for a some Universities in the US on the side. In reference to the Imgration records from Bremen, best guess would be the port of entry records. Most of Bremens records got destroyed betweem World War I and II. Hope I could help and let know if it helped. regards, Sandra Janet Estep <jlestep@smyth.net> wrote: Yes, thank you, Sandra.
