I've come across a death certificate that lists Mercy Hospital in Hamilton as place of death. The death was in 1937. Is Mercy Hospital still there? Where is it located? Was it run by a religious denomination? Thank you. Kathleen Dewey
Kathleen, Mercy Hosp. in Hamilton was closed several years ago. It was on Dayton St. in Hamilton. It was run by the Sisters of Charity, I believe. There is still Mercy South Hospital, in Fairfield.
