    3. Now it gets funny....I have Leibrook family, but haven't done a lot with it. They are cousins from Okeana. Eugene and I used to play together as children, in Shandon and Okeana. Milton (his grandfather) and I were both very active in Knights of Pythias, me in Middletown and Milton in Okeana. Most of them moved down to Florida about 20 years ago. Milton and his wife are dead for a few years, but I think they are buried in Okeana. Check with the folks at Macedonia Christian Church for new info on the Handleys. I think I ran into some of them when we buried Ruby (Cleaver) Ruskaup, and, again when we buried her husband, Bill Ruskaup. A lot of those people were very active in the Macedonia Church over the years. That was also the church that my foster father, Ted Gast, and all of his siblings grew up in, so we stayed in close contact with everybody out there. Leibrooks, through the Burns family, are also related to John David Francis, which, in turn, means that most everyone in Shandon and Okeana, plus the majority of Scipio were related..........ain't that a hoot!!! If that isn't bad enough, since the Hawks and Joyces are also part of the same basic roots, that means that Millville and Reily are also in your background. Ain't life a blast?? As I told you when we first started talking about Mary Ann and that part of the family, it's a small, small world. Yes, I grew up knowing the DeArmonds from Shandon Congregational. If I can find the pictures, I'll send them to you. I have one of Bob Handley dressed as an old woman for some sort of silly show that the men put on back in the 1950's that I know you'll get a chuckle out of. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Sftrail@aol.com> To: <OHBUTLER@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2006 12:32 PM Subject: [OHBUTLER]DeArmond-Dwyer-George-Handley-Jeanes-Leibrook-Nugent-Sizelove-Russell-Yauger > Are any of you researching any of these Morgan township families? > > In a letter from Miriam George Van Mason to her sister Alice George > Davis, > written August 9, 1978: > > "I, too, wondered why our road could not be named George.
