    3. Hi all, This is probably the last reminder about the Work in the Woodmansee Cemetery. Oct 1 and Oct 15, 2005; 8am-12PM. Honeysuckle and stump removal is slow and tedius but a necessary evil. Efforts to uncover and right footstones continues as well. There is enough work for everyone. Bring a shovel, trowels, clippers, water and dress for the weather. for Road access see http://www.rootweb.com/~ohbutcem/ following to Liberty Township and Woodmansee Cemetery. Reminders about next years work schedule will be out in April 2006. Thank-you all for spreading the word and coming out to work. Hopefully the trees that took out the mausoleum for James Woodmansee (1814-1887) will be removed this winter to prepare for work next spring. Efforts are being made to establish what the mausoleum looked like before it fell. Jennifer Brashear, a local artist may be able to render an image from the findings around the mausoleum. It is hoped that such an image will be used in a brochure being developed on the cemetery. The grass seed spread Sept 17 is already up and will hopefully reduce the spread of honeysuckle and poison ivy. The area at least looks tended and the tombstones are visable that is quite an improvement. Caroline Huppi 513.779.8740
