Would SKS please do a look up for a Hannah DOUGLAS in the 1820 Butler Co.census? Hanah married her first husband, Jonathan WILLS some time prior to 1829. Jonathan died circa 1832 and she then married Ellis SQUIRER in 1835 in Butler Co. I am trying to find out where and when her an Jonathan were married and in what city her and SQUIRER were married. Hi Sharon, On the 1820 census there are two Douglas families. One is George Douglas in Madison Twp. and the other is Joseph Douglas in Milford Twp. The census doesn't list all members. Not until 1850 does the census list all the members of the household. In looking on Familysearch.org, I found the following marriage: Husband JOHN WILLIS Wife HANNAH DOUGLAS Marriage: 02 MAR 1829 , Butler, Ohio ------------------------------------------------------ Then, I found this one Husband ELLIS SQUIRE Marriage: 18 NOV 1833 , Butler, Ohio Wife HANNA WILLS Marriage: 18 NOV 1833 , Butler, Ohio The records do not show a town.
