Seeking information on James Irwin born 16 Oct 1757, Cumberland County, PA. He served in Revolutionary War and was married to Nancy (aka Agnes) in Cumberland Co, PA on Feb 2, 1786 and moved to Warren County, OH in 1790; then moved to Butler County, OH in early 1800. He lived in Union Township, Butler Co, OH. His son, Robert Irwin (born March 19, 1795) married Lydia Cox. James Irwin is buried in Piqua Cemetery on Dimmerick Road. Does anyone have ANY information on where in Cumberland Co, PA James Irwin was from and who his parents or siblings were. We do know that Robert Irwin made a statement regarding his Revolutionary War service when he applied for his pension in Butler Co, OH.
