    3. The cemetery is named the Pisgah Presbyterian-Dimmick Road Cemetery and it is located on the SW corner of Dimmick Road and Tamarack Terrace in West Chester (formerly Union) Township. There are many burials there but most of the stones were down or missing when I made my last visit. The cemetery is maintained by the West Chester Township Trustees and they do a pretty good job of it. Your two ancestors are listed among the many burials there (Butler County, Ohio Cemeteries, Volume III. page 41, by Hazel Stroup Coates.) I have done extensive on-site research, over the years, for my own ancestors, in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The Cumberland County Historical Society and The Hamilton Library Association have one of the best research facilities that I have used in that state. It is located at 21 Pitt Street in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and is the official repository for most of the original records of Cumberland County, along with the records of the Carlisle Indian School. Their web site is: www.historicalsociety.com The site has an on-line surname index, and Irwin is one of those listed. The only down side is that their research fee is $50 per name. However, they will furnish you with a list of other paid professional researchers in that area if you are not able to make a personal visit. Another good source is the "Published Pennsylvania Archives." I was able to pinpoint the township location and parent's names for several of my late 1700 ancestors from the tax lists, and other records, in the books. They are available in many of the large genealogical libraries. Another source is the Pennsylvania State Archives in Harrisburg. I must admit though that I had better luck in finding what I wanted in Carlisle rather than in Harrisburg. Good Luck in your quest to locate your Pennsylvania ancestors.
