Hi everyone, I have need in my genealogy search for the following: 1. Any documentation of John Harrison Johnson, b. 1/1791, d 3/20/1869 and Spouse Sara (Stout) Johnson, b 5/4/1799, d.8/19/1870, both assumed to have died in Butler Co., or Union Co. IN as they are buried in Crawford Cemetery in Indiana just west of Oxford, Ohio over the state line. 2. Does anyone have the 1820 Census of Cincinnati Ohio? I would like to have info on all the people with the surname Wilkinson from it. I have been trying to establish names of my 3rd Wilkinson great grandparents and all I have is their son's Samuel Barker Wilkinson obituary that states he was born in 1821 in Cincinnati so hopefully they were recorded in the 1820 Census year. Also searching for place of his marriage to Prescilla Stout Johnson on September 25th 1845, I assume Butler or Warren Counties. This is HIS OBITUARY of March 28, 1890, THE GREENSBURG STANDARD NEWSPAPER, Greensburg, Decatur Co., Indiana** Samuel Barker Wilkinson Samuel Barker Wilkinson was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, June 6th, 1821, of English parentage. Left as an orphan at the age of six, he was brought up by John Baxter, of Warren County. He was married to Prescilla Johnson, on September 25th 1845. They moved to Jennings County, Indiana in 1854, but returned to Ohio in 1858 (Butler Co.), where they resided until 1875, when they came to the farm near Westport, Ind., which was home until the time of his death, March 21,1890. Thanks to all Look-up volunteers, as they do a great service as I know it is hard at times. I have a unique document on the "Storytellers", about genealogist and people who search for there ancestors. If any one would lik a copy let me know and I will send it. James Wilkinson I tried yet again, to send a reply to one of your questions. This time about 1820 Wilkinsons, sent to you directly, as I wasn't sure the whole list cared. However, you have your spam filter set to block everyone not in your address book. VERY hard to send off list when people don't accept email. I don't care to leap thru Earthlink's hoops, reading "hidden" letter to prove something. Just not worth my time. But I tried. Ann
Let's not allow frustrations to boil over into petty impoliteness. I, for one, did not enjoy having to reading this sort of exchange.
