    3. Shirley, Most if not all of the burials will be speculative. For example Noah & Joel Doty are written about having died in 1806 & 1807. No one talks about where they were buried. The odds are good that they were buried in the Riverside Cemetery as there is no evidence that Daniel Doty had these 2 moved or buried in the 1827 opening of the Middletown Cemetery. I plan to reference "Why" the person has been put in the cemetery. In the "Centennial" book about Butler County someone wrote- "The city should have preserved it and here erected a shaft to Steven Vail and others. In 1873 but two stones remained, that of George Russell, who died May 25, 1814, and Moses Vail, son of Steven Vail, who died at the age of sixty-two years. " These are the only "known" burials in this cemetery. I hope that clarifies the approach I am taking on reconstructing the burials for this lost cemetery.
