    3. Judy, Thanks for your responce. I am not sure if our Murphy's are connected. I will check to see if I can find a Edward anywhere in what little info. I have. I can tell you my Grandfather was John Murphy he was born in Morgan Co., Kentucky and moved to Ohio where he and his 1st wife, Eve/Eva Blair, had their 3 kids and then my Grandfather came back to Ky. and married my Grandmother, Essie Mae Kincaid, and lived in Estill Co., Ky where they had 2 more kids, my Mom and her Brother. I do know most of my Grandfather's Brother's and Sister's was born in Ky and moved to Ohio. So, I will check and see what I can come up with. 2. Hi Tina, I have Edward J. Murphy, b.1853, Ohio. I think. I have been trying to get this together so I could let you know. It appears that the Murphy's were in Ohio and went to KY and back again to Ohio. Or they were in KY and came to Ohio. I am very busy right now but wanted to get in touch to see if your Murphy's are related to mine. I do have much more information but before I send it out needed to see if maybe we match. 1. FLEMINGS (McFARLAND) OF BUTLER COUNTY
    2. Bette McIntosh
    3. Hello List members (especially Linda Grinnell & Ray Turner), I am entering this thread of messages concerning the surname FLEMING since I have some interest in an Elizabeth FLEMING who was apparently present in Hamilton, Butler Co. at some time before 1962. The only information I have regarding this Elizabeth FLEMING is that she is named as a beneficiary in the estate & will papers of Emma RITCHIE (nee WEISS); widow of Oscar N. RITCHIE of Hamilton, Butler Co.. Apparently FLEMING was the maiden name of this Elizabeth since she is listed as "Elizabeth FLEMING McFARLAND of Silver City, NM" in 1962 at the time of the probated will of Emma RITCHIE in Hamilton, Butler Co.. I have written letters to two McFARLAND's that I have found in the Silver City, NM telephone directory but have had no replies from either query. I would be interested to hear from anyone who may have some information or a connection to the family "FLEMING" in Butler County; specifically the person of Elizabeth FLEMING McFARLAND who would have known Emma RITCHIE (nee WEISS). I am sorry this is such a vague request but this is all the information I have to offer at this time. Bette
