    3. Dennis, About Reilly Twp "Ebenezer Cemetery" The "old" Cemeteries of Ohio 1978 index stated; Ebenezer S8 T4N R1E West side of Indian Creek Rd. near Imhoff Rd. Also includes an Indian Creek Baptist - Indian Creek Pioneer NE 1/4 S5 T4N R1E. East side Indian Creek Rd. 1/2 mi north west of Imhoff Rd Hazel Stroup Volume I pages 46, 47 Ebenezer Cemetery Indian Creek, Oxford Township, Butler County, Ohio . Hazel Stroup Volume VII pages 29-33 Now calls the cemetery -----Same people as in Volume I pg 46, 47 but more people and info included Indian Creek Cemetery Indian Creek Road, near King Road Reily Twp,. Butler Co, Ohio Paraphrasing- Cemetery is located in the churchyard of Indian Creek Baptist Church. The church was organized in 1810, 3 miles above Reily at the home of John Morria or John Burke. The land on which the Church stands and the ground where the graveyard is, consists of 3 acres in the SW Quarter of Sect 5. 2003 Cemeteries of Ohio index does not show an Ebenezer Cemetery in Reily Twp But shows Indian Creek Pioneer- Indian Creek Baptist. Now part of Metroparks and says NE ¼ of S5 T4N: R1E That seems wrong based on the 2005 Butler County Engineers office placement looks lie SE ¼ of S 5 but who knows. The 2003 entry states the location as .5 mile northwest of Imhoff Road. East side of Indian Creek Road. Coord- 39 27' 53" N, 84 47' 6" W I have left out the degree marks because I'm lazy. So- There is no Ebenezer Cemetery in Reily Twp, based on the people in the 2 surveys done by Hazel Stroup, there is only 1 cemetery, now being called Indian Creek Cemetery. now a part of Butler County Meteroparks. I hope that clears things up. It helped to focus on just one cemetery mystery and not "all" of them at one time. An Ebenezer Cemetery in Section 8 may show up someday but based on the published Hazel Stroup work, it looks like there is only 1 cemetery called Indian Creek..... Caroline Huppi

    3. Judy, I can not find an Edward Murphy in my files. I would say since the Murphy's went back and forth from Ohio and Kentucky and the majority went to the same areas, there is a connection somewhere. We just need to find it. Does any of these names ring a bell. John Murphy and Nancy Ransome I have found info that they had 16 children, but have no documentation on that. William K. 1. WWI draft records
    2. Norma Adams
    3. Hi, Ancestry has opened up it's World War 1 Draft Registration records for visitors of Access Genealogy for free. This will cover a 14 day period between July 4 - July 17 2005. The only thing required to view the records is an email address and your name. No credit card required! This is not a 14 day trial of all of their material. It is strictly limited to their World War 1 Draft Registration images. In 1917 and 1918, approximately 24 million men living in the United States completed a World War I draft registration card. These registration cards represent approximately 98% of the men under the age of 46. The total U.S. population in 1917-1918 was about 100 million individuals. In other words, close to 25% of the total population is represented in these records. http://www.accessgenealogy.com/military/ww1/draft.htm BUT, not all states are yet available. Coming soon: Iowa Louisiana New Jersey Kansas Minnesota Oregon Kentucky Missouri Puerto Rico Good Hunting! Norma

    1. Re: [OHBUTLER-L] Clawson and Teetor
    2. Just as an aside.....there were Clawsons and Teetors around Shandon, Okeana, and New Haven when I was growing up. Bob and Oleata Teetor lived in Morgan Township. Mrs Percy Teetor lived first between Shandon and Venice (Ross), on the farm that was bought out and used by the Atomic Energy Commission around 1950-51, then, I think she moved into Shandon. There was a Clawson farm on Morgan-Ross Road, right outside of Shandon. I don't remember the first names, but they all attended the Congregational Church at Shandon......maybe Myron Clawson??? The old folks died off in the 50's, and eventually, the daughter died a spinster at Shandon. There were also Clawsons around New Haven/Harrison, down in Hamilton County, if I remember correctly, just a few miles southwest of Shandon. John Francis will know if they are buried at Shandon, at New London Cemetery. I'm talking like it was yesterday, but these people lived out there fifty years ago. You would think I was getting long in the tooth. Just talked to Mary Anne Weikel yesterday....as perky as always. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Sftrail@aol.com> To: <OHBUTLER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 04, 2005 11:14 PM Subject: [OHBUTLER-L] Clawson and Teetor > Was anyone working with the Clawson family of Morgan township? 3. To Robert A. VanDyne: No, I am not a descendant of Ira Hunt, but I suspect (hope) that there was a relationship to my Fleming ancestors. They seem to have moved together, lived near each other, attended the same church, and sold land to each other. Perhaps we have a common ancestor further back. I will check my notes to see if I can find anything about Ira's wife. Margaret Wheaton OHBUTLER-D-request@rootsweb.com wrote: Date: Fri, 1 Jul 2005 07:02:43 -0500 From: "Robert A. 1. Re: [OHBUTLER-L] MARTIN Admin. message
    2. Richard Martin
    3. Robert, Maybe there is something relavant here. My James G. Martin moved to Indiana. Ages and places of birth of children would indicate that James moved to Indiana after Sarah's birth in Miami Co., OH in 1844 and before son Henry T. Martin's birth in 1849 in Marion Twp., Allen Co., Indiana. The family moved back to OH in 1850 or before 1852. They settled in Darke Co. OH where my Martin side has been ever since. I noticed from some other Butler Co. postings you mentioned the BLUE family. Their are some BLUE's associated with Martin's in Miami Co. OH. I also have WARD's but on my mothers side. These Wards go back to David Ward 1697 NJ. George Ward, Hampshire Co., VA 1761, David Ward, Hardy Co., VA 1785 and then to Miami Co. OH wife was Elizabeth Taylor, Jamestown, VA 1787 married 1805 Montgomery Co. OH she died Darke Co., OH 1852. If any of these item connect let me know.
