    3. I've put family info onto Ancestry w/o having to pay them. Now that I subscribe to it, I figure what I pay to use info on their site is more for what others like me have put on there, including what they know of various families I'm researching. Ancestry's employees also keep transcribing more data in one place for us. I like the convenience of having census data available whenever I get inspired to use it. I like having more ways to test family history than just what family tradition has said. (I know that LDS has a problem with that, too.) I like being able to email other researchers who are working on the same family history as I am. And I especially like being able to use Ancestry's ever expanding search options to find my people, even in censuses. (I started out with the microfilm or microfish method of the "olden days".)     3. When I posted my information about this cemetery this morning I must still have been half asleep. It had slipped my mind that the roads in the West Chester area have been realigned and renamed. The cemetery is now located on WEST CHESTER ROAD. Beckett Road now ends at Union Centre Blvd. From there east, this same road is now West Chester Road. I was out that way just a few hours ago and verified that the road signs now say West Chester - not Beckett. Bob McMaken

This is a great site for free census reports: http://www.censusfinder.com/ Also, don't forget the many wonderful, free databases on www.rootsweb.com.     3. Except you get used to this convenience so you keep it the next year. Plus they are continously upgrading their viewers for the census.     3. Joyce, Union Memorial Cemetery is in Union/ West Chester Twp. in Section27. The West of theCorner of Beckett Road and Cincinnati- Dayton road is where the cemetery is located. The cemetery is labeled Brookside Cemetery at the entrance. There is a 1960's "inventory" of the cemtery by Hazel Stroup et al. You can also contact the West Chester Twp Office (513) 777-8765 and they may also have info though official records do not begin until the late 1800's. I will look through the photos I have taken and see if I happen to have a tombstone photos. ( I have randomly only taken Photos of oldest tombstones).     3. Dennis, Union/ West Chester Township has, a "Brookside Cemetery", aka-Union Township Cemetery and Hazel Sroup labeled the Cemetery as Union Township Memorial Cemetery. I'm not sure if this is the cemetery you might be referencing. Ancestry.com is available to use through Butler County OHGenWeb in various places, like the name search engine on the index page, and the also-popular Ohio Databases page.     3. Union Cemetery is now named Brookside Cemetery and it is located in West Chester Township, here in Butler County, Ohio. This active, and well maintained cemetery, is located on Beckett Road just to the rear of the West Chester Police Dept. and several maintenance buildings. The cemetery office is located in one of the maintenance buildings. The entire complex is at the intersection of Cincinnati-Dayton Road and Beckett Road in the Village of West Chester. Yes, both Catherine and Frank Reeb are buried there. The following is from "Butler County, Ohio Cemetery Records," Volume V, Page 44: Reeb, Catherine, d. 24 Apr 1861, ae 20 yrs, 3 mos, 9 das, wife of Michael Frank, d. 7 Aug 1860, ae 5 mos, 17 das, son of M. and C. There is no burial record for Michael. The actual records for the pre-1895 burials were destroyed in a fire that year but the cemetery staff has been working over the years to reconstruct the records for known burials. The mailing address is Brookside Cemetery, 9121 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, OH 45069. The telephone number is (513) 777-8765.
