    3. I looked in the 1930 for Raleigh, Joanna, Rodney and Ruth Easton as well as Ethel Fiste who was 11 yrs old in 1920 and a "boarder". I found none of them in 1930, no matter how I searched in any state with any spelling or partial spelling. Ann

    3. According to the WW I Draft Registration Card, William Raleigh Eastin (from his signature) was born 25 Jan 1891 in Stanton, KY. SSDI indicates he died Feb 1967 in Homestead, Miami-Dade Co., FL. William's SSN was: 289-09-2399. As of 1918, he was living at 20 Sandon Court, Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH. He is described as tall with medium build, blue eyes, and dark hair. I am attaching a copy of this card to this email. SSDI also notes a Rodney Eastin, b. 21 Jun 1916, OH (place based on 1920 census), and died 11 Feb 1997, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA (SSDI and CA Death Index). Rodney's SSN was: 293-09-3152. Neither William Raleigh Eastin, his wife, nor his children were found on the 1930 Census. Ted Crayne

    2. Monty Reed
    3. Rallegh [sic] Eastin 29, b. Ky., Railroad Brakeman, wife Joanna (Hall), children Rodney and Ruby are listed on the 1920 Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio census. Realizing I'm one county off, could someone find them in the 1930 census? Could not find them on the Historical Society death index. It's also possible they may have relocated. Brakemen could find a job most anywhere if they still had their limbs. Appreciate any help. Monty Reed -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. 3. According to an obit stapled to the back of Rene (Wallace) Maston's bible, "George Daniel Wallace was born near Darrtown, Ohio, June 5, 1856, and passed away March 4, 1931, at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 27 days. He was the second son of John C. and Maria (Kyger) Wallace, both families being early settlers of Butler County, Ohio. "He was married at an early age to Amanda Delong who is now deceased. To this union there were two daughters born, both of whom preceded him in death. His second marriage to Catherine Barrett occurred July 15, 1889, six children coming to bless their home. Margaret, the oldest, passed away February 1920. All his life he was a farmer by occupation, industrious and thrifty, and enjoying the good will of his neighbors. Up to the last 16 years he made his home in Butler County and since then has resided in Preble County. He was blessed with good health until the year past. Funeral services were held in his late home Saturday morning conducted by Rev. W. M. Gross, interment following in the cemetery at Darrtown." NOTE: Rene was the daughter of George Daniel Wallace. She was married to Charles H. Maston, my grandfather. Kyger may be a typo. In Rene's bible, she recorded the name as Kyer.

    3. Hi James, I don't really know, unless it is a site that your Earthlink lists it as a site that is not accessible through them. I used to come up with sites like that from time to time. That is my only guess. Take care, J. Larry Helton, Jr. Famous last words: " Paddle faster, I hear banjo music..."

    3. Another free site to access the SSDI is through www.familysearch.org Click on the search tab at the top of the page and it will give you a list on the left side of the page. Click Social Security Death Index and there you are. 1. Re: [OHBUTLER] Fw: Daniel Doty's Granddaughter & Husband

    3. That's an easy one, Roger. Go down to Diver Feed & Garden on 1st Ave, and talk to either Dan or his Mom. Dan's brother-in-law does a lot of stuff with the family history. Also, Mark Doty, of Butler County Genealogy, would be her cousin, if she is in lineage of Old Daniel. You can get Mark's name and address from Debbie Morrison. Also, I believe that some of the Coddingtons are still around. Check with some of the movers and shakers that you know at 1st Presbyterian. They can probably put you in touch with some of the family. It might behoove her to join the Butler Co Genealogy Society (all of $10 a year) so she can get their news letter. It has a lot of little tidbuts and access to info for the members through old records and books that get passed around and some of it goes into the news letter. PLUS, if she goes onto the ButlerCoGenWeb site (I happen to go thru Google), there is quite a bit of history floating around on there, some of it pertaining to Middletown, Dan Doty, and a lot of the other originals. Linda Thompson, in Hamilton at the Records Center, also has a treasure trove of info about all in this area. She can access that source from the Butler County Ohio website. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger L. 3. I'm looking for some help finding Anderson Moore and his wife, Sena Waller, dau of Ashbell Waller of Butler County. Sena is mentioned in her father's Will in 1847, but no data has yet been found on Anderson Moore other than the 1830 and 1840 federal census in Union Township. On both census records, Anderson is listed immediately after Ashbell Waller. Although Ashbell Waller was a landowner, I have found no records of Anderson owning any. thank you in advance, Ted Crayne
