Surnames: Carroll Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/xVB.2ACE/1646 Message Board Post: Looking for information on Cassius Carroll born 11/29/1846 in Steubenville, Ohio. Civil War military records show his post office at time of enlistment in 1864 was Aberdeen, Ohio and that he was a carriage maker. Also know his father was born in Maryland and mother in Pennsylvania. Looking for parents and siblings names. 1860 Federal Census for Aberdeen does not show any Carrolls so I figure they were in another Brown County township probably near Aberdeen between 1860 and 1864. Any assistance would be appreciated.
