I have collected the following information/data on Matthew Campbell: -Birth: Between 1748and 1750, In Argyllshire, Inveraray, Scotland. -Died: 18 January 1819, in Maysville, Mason county, Kentucky. -Buried: Aberdeen, Brown County, Ohio. The first cemetery on the upper river. - Spouses: 1) Sarah, 2) Mary Shelby. -Children: James; John; Mary; Evan (my GGGGGrandfather); Levisa; Elizabeth; William; and Malinda. Children where born in Pennsylvania or Kentucky. Evan was one of the early settler of Aberdeen, Ohio. -Military Service: Matthew served in Captain Thomas Paxton's Company of Militia, 1st Battalion, Bedford County, Pennsylvania during the American Revolution. -Matthew was a member of the party that established Cincinnati, Ohio. -Matthew's Father: Colin (Collin) Campbell.
