Reg.; died in Andersonville prison, of Diarrhoea, 8-31-64. Grave no. 7370. Isaac Barngrover was born Apr. 5, 1841 in Brown Co., OH and was a resident of either Slash, Greene Twp. or Sims Twp. at the time of his enlistment (found him listed in both places.) He was recorded under several different spellings which may be that the original spelling was Berngruber, Swiss/German name.
