HI: I'm researching the family of MOSES BERRY, who moved from MASON CO., KY, after 1880, to Ripley. His children were ALEXANDER, ARTHUR and BELLE, and he married MARIAH PRIOR in 1854 in Mason Co. I'd like to find out what happened to JULIA CARR, who married Alex in 1880; he died in 1882. Also, Arthur's wife, ADA BOWMAN, was the niece of WILLIAM EMMONS, who moved to Ripley from NICHOLAS COUNTY, KY. Her aunt was ELIZA COWAN/COWEN. Census records place the Cowans in Ripley as far back as 1860; Eliza's father WILSON was from Tennessee. I can't figure out who Ada's parents were. THOMAS BOWMAN of KY was most likely her father but her mother could be either ELIZABETH COWAN or MARY COWAN. Any/all leads appreciated.
