Hermon: I, one of many, truly enjoy the way you describe the History of Brown County and I read with great attention to every detail hoping to find a mere mention of one of my ancestors. Finally, it dawns on me, just ask! Would you have any recollection of the Hanselmans or Gilfillens or Campbells or Pindells? They are my more recent ancestors, 1850's to 1950's. Also earlier ancestors: Long Bunner Strait or Straight Hughes (Clermont County) Brown Springer Lucas Dragoo Prickett Allot of them seemed to come from what was then the Monongalia area of Virginia.
