HI: I'm researching the family of MOSES BERRY, who moved to Brown County after 1880. His wife was MARIAH (nee PRIOR), and they had two children, ARTHUR and BELLE. I'm trying to find out about Arthur's wife, ADA (or ADELIA) BOWMAN. She was raised by her aunt ELIZA (nee COWAN), who was also from Brown County, who married WILLIAM EMMONS, who was from Nicholas Co., KY. The research problem I'm having: Ada was named as William's niece in the 1880 Census. I would really like to find Ada's mother. The COWANS lived in Brown County in the 1860 Census (WILSON COWAN/COWEN was from Tenn.). So where were her parents, MARY (?) I think that was her name, and THOMAS BOWMAN, said to be born in KY? If you are researching any of these 3 surnames in Brown Co., please let me know. I don't have a lot of info to trade due to the sketchy info but can offer some facts about the families. Thanks, KBerry
