(abt.1786) David age 18 born in OH. (abt.1832) Locksmith 1860 Perry Twp. : McKITRICK, Thomas age 84 born in IRE. (abt.1776) Carpenter Sarah age 69 born in NY (abt.1791) (NOTE : It would appear that Catherine McKitrick died between 1850 and 1860 and Thomas remarried (in his 70's) or this is another relative.) Living near by is : McKITRICK, Daniel age 43 born in PA (abt.1817) Carpenter Emma age 41 born in OH. (abt.1819) Mary C. age 19 born in OH. (abt.1841) Joseph age 13 born in OH. (abt.1847) Sarah age 9 born in OH. (abt.1851) 1870 Perry Twp. : McKITRICK, Sarah age 69 born in NY. (abt.1801) (It would seem that Sarah didn't age any in the last 10 Yrs.) Also living in the household is : Vincent White age 7 born in OH. (abt.1863) Daniel McKitrick age 35 born in PA. (abt.1835) Carpenter ( Is this the same Daniel McKitrick that was in the 1860 census, if so he should be about 53 and not 35 years old which could just be a mistake from when the census was copied, the numbers could have been reversed by mistake, but where is his family ? Maybe his wife is deceased and the children all married. ) It looks like your Thomas McKitrick died between 1860 and 1870 instead of between 1830 and 1850. I have the death records for Brown Co. Ohio for 1867 to 1881 and he isn't listed in them so that narrows it down to his death being between 1860 and 1867. Marriage Records : Thomas McKitrick married Susan Adkins on 26,Aug.1840, by Cheniah Covalt JP. in Perry Twp. Brown Co. Ohio. This was the only marriage record that I could find for the name "McKitrick" in Brown Co. Ohio between 1818-1850. There was one other reference to the "McKitrick" name in the records that I have : Will Abstracts : William Mckitrick - Will written 2,Jul.1828, Probated 3,Apr.1840. Witnesses : Silas Thomas, N. Beasley and John L. Wright. Names : Sister Margaret Wright : to William Wright and Alexander Wright. Ext'rs : William Wright and Alexander Wright. I have a few of the cemetery listings for Perry Twp. Brown Co. Ohio but none of the Mckitrick family is listed in the ones that I have. They could all be buried there I just don't have the list for the cemetery that they are in. Charlene Smitson
