(Brother of my GGrandfather D. Carr Early). Lewis then married and had a son George born about 1853. I dont know Georges middle name, but it surely could have been Andrew, after his grandfather. Possibly your D. Carr is from that line. Can you go backwards? Yes, I do know for sure that my GGrandfather was D. Carr Early. He lived his adult life in Sac County, Iowa and he founded the town of Early, Iowa. Also was a founder of the town of Sac City. His home is still a prominant landmark there. He is well documented there. I grew up in the home of his daughter, my Grandmother. I find that his GGrandmother was Euphemia Carr, married to Thomas Early in 1764. That is where the "Carr" comes I think. Does this fit in with the rest of your information? I know the names of the Early's back in my line, but I now need to get documentation myself of some of these folks . I am just beginning to fill in some of the blanks..such as where born...where buried.....pictures of the stones. Good luck, Thanks for the message. Mimi
