    1. [OhBrown] Thomas and Mary Ball[?] Brown d Clermont 1817 era tradition
    2. HERMON B FAGLEY
    3. Thomas and Mary Ball[?] Brown had grown children scattered over 1800-10 Clermont. Joseph Brown, and bro-in-law,James Arthur, and Sailor niece were near Milford,1800+. Joseph's brother's,Wm and John were north of Bethel, where, tradition says, Thomas and Mary Ball [?] Brown are buried in their family cemetary off Bethel- Concord Rd,in a soybean field. Another brother,George Brown,1808-20 lived at the curve in South Bantam Rd,in Monroe township. He came from Brown's Run of Cabin Creek,on the Lewis-Mason Co Ky line. He lost a land suit, and moved to Milroy,Rush Co,Ind. The Brown's had lived within the triangle of Millersburg, and Paris, and Cane Ridge church in Bourbon Co,Ky. 1793-1806+ and before that, near Moorefiels,Hampshire- Hardy Co,WV. [email protected] has long researched them. And now is using DNA as a tool. And I'm trying to aid his research. DNA is providing a location never mentioned in earlier publications and traditions mentioning Thomas and Mary bALL[?] Brown. There is an area in nw Delaware near where Del,Pa,and Md now come together after Mason-Dixon's 1760's surveys. An area perhaps disputed between Wm Penn and Lord Baltimore. An area both settled colonies on the disputed land. Newark, Delaware and Newport Delaware, and White Clay Creek branch of Christina River, and Mill Creek, and Red Clay Creek, and Ball Creek, and Cooch's Bridge, and the Pecander Welsh Tract Baptists, and New Munster colony, and Nottinghan Colony, . A 10 mile circle would cover the area of Pa,De,and Md. DNA says that's the spot, as I understand it. A Thomas Jones mentions a George Brown in his will, plus Morgan Jones. St James Episcopal. Welsh Tract Baptist. Quakers galore. and some Swedish Lutherians. Whose research has backed what surnames to the area? Ball,Bracken,Cann, Claypool, Gregg, and more ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month! Visit www.juno.com
