For a few days now, this list and a number of others were "down" due to a major hard drive failure in a server at RootsWeb. When this happens, there really is nothing that can be done about it, except to replace the server and go on. That is why you have not received any mail for a few days. It appears now that we are back online, but now you will receive some mail that will have an incorrect date/time stamp on it until they get the backlog cleared out, so please be aware of that. The date and time on it will not necessarily be when it was sent. Also, a small amount of mail may be lost and never get delivered. Give them 24 to 48 hours from the time you read this message to clear the huge backlog out, and if you posted a message to the list that still does not appear, simply repost it. My apologies to all, but this is one of those situations where there was really not much RootsWeb could do but give the technicians time to replace a bad part and get the mail flowing again.
