Reading page 889 of Boyd Crumrine's "History of Washington Co,Pa " hints that the young Francis Dunley spent 10 days early in 1782 serving on what became called the Moravian Indian Massacre, and later,joined my Capt George Brown at Col. Wm Crawford's July,1782 defeat. If Francis served at the Moravian Massacre,did his brother,Rev John Dunlevy, who switched from Presbyterian after the Cane Ridge revival,to "New Light" ,and who,in 1806, became a sw Ohio-mid Ky Shaker leader with Richard McNemarr.
