Sharon, Both of the following entries in the Brown Co. marriage records give his name as William P. Taylor. Family records say the P. stands for Parker. His first wife, Sarah Frazee, was previously married to John Frazee. She was the daughter of John Derry and Anna Rardin. According to family information, Sarah is buried in the Warner Cemetery with other Derrys, although no marker is present for her. Sarah and William had 3 children: John C. Taylor, Robert Hilgrove Taylor, and Sarah Taylor Leeds. (Sarah and Robert were named in John Derry's will, their grandfather.) William P. Taylor and Sarah Fry/Frye were the parents of 4 children: William Taylor, Katherine Taylor Davidson, James P. Taylor, and Mary Elizabeth Taylor. William P. Taylor and 5 of his children are buried in the New Harmony Cemetery. Judy, Thanks for the added information. I was particularly interested in this marriage because of the Frazee connection. I have three John Frazees in my FTW, but he doesn't match any of them. I was also interested in the Sarah Fry connection, in case she is related to Sybilla Frye, the wife of Michael Pence, an early settler in Adams Co. Whether the information you provided will help or not, it's too soon to say, but t hey could be pieces of the puzzle. My goal is to find parents and relatives for Margaret Taylor, wife of Thomas Newell. They were married c 1806 in Adams Co.
