It's a different Johnson family. My wife's Isaiah 1770-1830]and Mary Sooy Johnson once lived no great distance from the n w corner of Pike township .Might have even gone to church together,if the dates meshed. Laurel [Carmel Methodist] is where my maternal grandparents were, and my boyhood buddy,Mike Ireton has Marsh blood. My David Brown's girls marrid John Corbin,Henry Barkley, and David Morton, and son m Sue Fisher. On my grandmother's side,it' s Adam Simmons daughter marrying Thomas Hitch's John. 1876 atlas shows Orpha Ireton in n w Pike. New Harmont is the cemetary of that neighborhood.[and Sarah Day. Owen's were in New Harmony. I see Wm Johnson and Wm Conover in nw most Pike It's close. Isaiah Johnson's and Wm Johnson's both on Todd's Run. I don't know the exact farm that Isaiah lived on before they moved north to Jackson township. 1 mile? Little Egg Harbor township, eastern Burlington Co,NJ HAS,1794,I think, the right Isaiah Johnson. s On Mon, 9 Jun 2003 9:01:44 -0400 <[email protected]> writes: > I am interested in the genealogy of the Johnson family buried at > Bloom Rose. > > I have no evidence that this Johnson family is buried there.
