I descend from William Toliver Garrison & Sarah Sowers from their son William whom married Catherine Sellers. William and Catherine had several children one of which was Lillie Garrison whom married Charles Louderback. I had a pretty extensive database but unfortunately I somehow mannaged to delete it. I would greatley appreciate help from anyone that might have information on this Garrison family. William and Sarah also had children by the names of Mary Louise, Benjamin, George W, Cyrus, Elnora, Belle Melissa, Levina, Samuel. William and Catherine also had children by the names of Cora, Orval, Raymond and Hazel. Thanks for your help! Amanda

Charles Louderback was born about 1880 and moved to Brown Co. sometime after and married Lillie Garrison (b. abt 1884). They had a daughter in 1908 by the name of Cecil Mae Louderback; I do not know how long they were married. I beleive that Lillie eventually moved to Dayton OH, and Charles to Cincinnati. In 1930 he was married to a lady named Victoria. I would like to hear from anyone that has any Louderback connections in Brown Co (or Hamilton). Thanks for your help, Amanda [email protected]

It was another big crowd etc. Home at one A.M. Mrs. Moody & Lizzie got on the boat. In at 12 tonight." The only connection between the Croziers and the Henrys that I can find is only a hint from the census. Richard and Margaret Crozier had a son named HENRY W. Crozier. He was born about 1853 in Ohio. Margaret was born in Pennsylvania, and husband Richard was born in Ireland. Hope this helps. Gloria

I have been studying a map of Arnheim from about 1870, and looking at the census of Arnheim from about 1860. My great-grandmother lived at the Hotel (presumably run by Lewis Brown) at the corner of Van Buren and Main Streets. Sometimes such old buildings are still left standing -- even after this many years. If anyone on the list lives in Arnheim, can you tell me if there is still an old hotel at the corner of Van Buren & Main in Arnheim? Thanks, Buffy

Her mother, Margaret Crozier, was living with them in 1880, Kitty and John had a daughter named Elizabeth, aged 2 in 1880 census. Oscar's son George was born ca. 1851.His initial was R. in 1850, but later was written as W. In 1880, Louella Kinkaid, 40, was living next door to George.

You are the first member of the Shaw family to respond to my query. The name George must be a family name. Oscar had a son named George; and, from your information, it would appear to be carried on through the generations. Oscar's son George was a colorful character. Gobertson is not mentioned in the diary. Get in touch with me by my e-mail: [email protected] please.

Are your Sullivan's in Lowell ? Jeremiah b 1810 Ireland Mariah b 1809 Ireland Ellen b 1835 Ma Michael b 1838 Ma This family is listed in the 1850 Lowell census. Gale
Trying to help you track down the Sullivan's. I did find Christian listed in both the 1850 Census and the 1880 Census. It states in both places that Christian was born in Ohio. If your Jeremiah was born in Lowell, Ma., it might not fit the "brother profile". Christian's kids are listed in 1850: Sarah, John, Francis M.,Angeline and Josephine. By 1880, all those kids are gone and the census shows only 2 daughters, both grown, Lizzie married to Newton Davidson and Louisa married to a Mister Norris. Christian's parents are listed as born in Ireland. Hope this adds some insight. I'll continue to look for you if something comes up. Gale

Ralph, Saw your posting on Brown Co, Roots Web. If I'm not mistaken, Joseph and Sarah Johns Genoways moved out to Woodford Co, Illinois where they both died. I think that I am related to Sarah Johns of Ct because I descend from David Johns b 1792, living in Brown Co until he died in the 1860's. David was born in New York, but the Johns family moved from NY to Ct and back numerous times in the late 1700's. I do have the Genoway kids and who they married. Let me know if I can help further.
