Nancy - I don't have any of those names but I want to ask if you, or anyone, knows why it is called Lockwood Hill. My 3ggf Noble TAYLOR 1776-1848, originally from Virginia I think, m Elizabeth LOCKWOOD in Cecil Co MD in 1798. They were in Belmont Co by 1806. I had assumed Elizabeth's family was from Maryland but I don't actually know, and I wonder if there were/are LOCKWOODs in Belmont County. Anyone know? I do not know who Elizabeth's parents were or anything more about her. TIA for any info, Jan Nancy Albritton wrote: > > Found these surnames when searching the cemetery along Pipe Creek. > Called it Lockwood Hill Cemetery only because it was on that road.
