    3. Sandra and any one with knowledge of Smiths, Andrew Smith and family came from Creiff, Perth, Scotland about 1820. He and his wife Jean were buried in Fort Dille, OH. She in 1830 and he in 1833. Children: Jean born 4/9/1806 Stayed in Scotland Margaret born Bef.. 10/18/1807 Peter born 8/30/1809 Alexander born 12/27/1811 Elizabeth born 2/17/1814 Matthew born 6/10/1815 died 1818 washed overboard on way to USA Sara born 8/24/1820 Wegee, OH Charlotte born 8/4/1822 Wegee, OH Anne Catherine born 5/24/1825 Wegee, OH married to B. Miller I would like very much to find more about my grandmothers Smith line any help would be appreciated. I know the location on a map of Wegee but what township (or whatever term you use in Ohio) is it located in? Any leads would be a big help!! James van Hoevenberg van@ot.com

    3. James, Wegee is in Mead Twp. I found this in "Tombstone Inscriptions & Family Records of Belmont Co., OH" by Esther Weygandt Powell. Dille's Bottom Cemetery - On Route 7 in Mead Twp.
