Hi All My family were Belmont Quakers. They belonged to the Stillwater Friends Thomas Williams & Prudence moved to Belmont about 1807 Prudence planted what was to have been the largest apple tree in Belmont county. It lasted till July 10, 1896 when it blew down. Joseph Camden of New Jersy heard of the tree and asked for wood to ake souveniers. Some was sent to our family, urns, caese, goblets which were highly ptized. They say only one still exists in Jay county Indiana. Thomas & Prudence had 7 children out f those came George who married Rachel White fromthem came John who married Lovica who had a daughter named Clarkie she married Joseph Williams and had a daughter Dequestonie Emily (my great grandmother) who married a german named George William Blocker. If any of these sound like family or you can provide me with any information please let me know. And ye though I am Quaker I do belong to their web site where I found 7 cousins. I thought I'd break the pattern and see if you had any info you could share. Thank Shelley (in Juneau Alaska)
