I'm trying yet again to find something, ANYTHING about my gr-gr grandmother, Ruth Ann Frame NEWLIN. She was married to Elisha Phipps NEWLIN, and they moved, from Chester County, PA to Colrain, Belmont co, ca 1857. Elisha died before the 1860 census, and Ruth Ann was the HOH on the 1860, living with the children. The thing that KILLS me is that her eldest 2 children, Elizabeth and Frank, both are listed on the 1850 Chester Co census, as having been born in OHIO, ca 1838.....did Ruth Ann and Elisha go to Ohio earlier, have 2 children, and then go back to Chester Co? Was Elisha married, in Ohio, first, to another woman who was the mother of these children, and who, when she died, returned to PA with their father....where he then married Ruth Ann? I am just stumped! Does anyone know of any Frames who could, possibly be related to Ruth Ann (1818-1900) in Belmont? Ruth is always listed as having been born in PA, but perhaps her parents moved to Ohio, and that was why she and her family left PA... HELP! Sandra
