    3. Jerilyn, It is a sad statement of the times that one cannot feel safe inside a cemetery but it is too true that some people do get taken advantage of in them. I'm sure the gentleman you met was concerned for your safety and I would always urge anyone to not go alone into a cemetery. I live further north in Canton, OH and we have had reports of people being molested in cemeteries that are very upscale and in full view of roadways and during the day. There is a trial that just took place of a boy who robbed a women at gunpoint in one of our best cemeteries so none are immune to this type of crime. Even those out in the country may be at risk. It is for this reason I urge any cemetery hoppers to always do it with a friend or relative unless you are sure you can take care of yourself or live with the possibility of a confrontation.
