Hello, I wondered if you had seen the new OHIO helps on the Family Search website? Here is the link http://www.familysearch.org/rg/research/index.html I just returned from the UGA/FGS genealogy convention in Salt Lake City and learned a lot! I found my family in Martin's Ferry in 1920, 1910 and 1900. Anyone with any connections or clues on finding actual birth records, marriages etc. Here is what I know so far: William GRIFFITHS born 1863 in Wales living at 823 Main Street in Martins Ferry, Belmont, Ohio [died 1925 I think] wife: Margaret, born 1864 Wales, they immigrated in 1889 and were naturalized in 1894. children: Thomas GRIFFITHS born May 1893 in Wales David Griffiths born Sept 1884 in Wales Mary Griffiths born July 1886 in Wales - (a.k.a. Beatrice ?) later married a Mr. IRWIN Sarah Griffiths born July 1892 in Maryland later married a HUGHES Anna E.
